A friend of mine is taking donations to help fight against cancer. Being a survivor herself she and many other around the wold know first hand what cancer can do to the body. I lost my uncle to it. The Big Night!

This storyline does hit home a bit. Megan, Jon and Josh do perform in a few plays each year. Dan and I do try to attend them. Someday we might actually go too! Some reason life gets in the way, or to be more honest maybe we let life get in the way. No matter how you look at it, we haven't and I'm sure that has to take its toll on our friends in someway, whether they say so or not. So in honor of what has become tradition, they have a play and we miss it... here comes payback time. Though in real life Dan and I will have to make one of these things more sooner than later, at least in comic form we can pay the price for our deeds.So I bring you "The Big Night!" Megan is going to get what she wants and Dan and Drew will not be able to back out this time...
Oh and in this comic we get to see Megan and Jon. Husband and wife. He's a programing nerd and she's a huge theater buff. In life this turns out to be a perfect blend of geek obsessions as they have inspired each other to cross lines! Megan has become a true gamer over the years and Jon has spent a lot of time on stage with his wife. Over the years they have even inspired Josh to step out on the big stage. And dare I say have drugged up old loves in myself for I once loved the stage too and find it calling me from time to time. Maybe some day I'll get the nerve to go up there again. For now I get to use my comic alter-ego to take those risks for me... the power of the cartoonist!

Friday Art Day!

Yeah it's kind-of a cop out compared to just posting a comic, but I'm still trying to come up with a good ending to the next storyline. If I can't come up with one then I'm going to put it on hold and move on with a different one but I need a little time to play with it first so I'm giving myself a long weekend!It's nice to be the boss of your own work. :) Had this been syndicated someone would have stepped in a forced my hand and I would have given less then quality work. Instead I step in and give you and unfinished drawing and avoid work! ...uh.
So anyway, have a great Friday and I will see you back here on Monday with more Healthy Obsessions fun filled frolics for all!
